For our 45-year-old athlete based in Ottawa, Canada, life is a masterclass in prioritization. As an engineering consultant and a father. When he began his journey with Coach Rehab, his initial focus was preparing for the grueling demands of a HYROX event. However, it quickly became clear that beneath his commitment to functional fitness lay a massive untapped potential in running.
In just three months of structured, disciplined training, he has already begun to rewrite his personal records. Moving with the precision of an engineer, he attacked his 5K pace, dropping his time from a solid 23:00 to a blistering 21:36. This 90-second improvement in such a short window is a direct result of his elite mindset. Whether he is preparing for the sled pushes of HYROX or chasing a new sub-21:00 5K, he embodies the reality that with the right structure, age and responsibility are not barriers.
Our goal now is a sub-20 minute 5K.
