HomeNardien Emad
Nardien Emad joined Coach Rehab Hamdy, 2 years ago she was already a recreational runner who had successfully completed a half marathon in 2 hours and 11 minutes. Looking for a new challenge, she decided to step outside her comfort zone and enter the world of triathlon.
Over the next two years of structured coaching, Nardin progressed from a beginner triathlete to a confident Sprint Distance finisher.
The journey started with swimming. With limited experience in the water, the focus was on developing efficient stroke mechanics, improving body position, and building confidence. Through a gradual and structured approach, she developed the aerobic foundation required for triathlon swimming and prepared for her first 800-meter open-water swim.
As race preparation continued, we worked on every aspect of triathlon performance, including open-water skills, transitions, race-day preparation, and brick sessions to help her adapt to the demands of moving efficiently between disciplines. When her target race required a wetsuit, she learned virtually how to put it on, remove it quickly, and use it effectively during competition.
Balancing training with work commitments and frequent travel presented additional challenges, but Nardin remained committed to the process. Her consistency and willingness to learn allowed her to steadily develop the skills and endurance needed to successfully complete her first Sprint Distance Triathlon with a strong and confident performance.
Today, Nardin continues her progression in the sport. She is currently preparing for her first IRONMAN 70.3 PoznaĆ 2026, with the long-term goal of competing for an age-group podium in Olympic Distance racing in 2027.
